‘Go Big’ on Casual Day for People with Disabilities

By Mzukona Mantshontsho
FRIDAY 6 September 2013 is Casual Day and everyone is encouraged to go big and wear a sticker, which only costs R10 in support of disabled persons.
The theme for this year is: “GO BIG” and shine bright for disabled persons in the country. South Africans are encouraged to go out there and buy their stickers.
“Wear big glasses and big ties to work or school. Come one, come all to the grandest Casual Day of all. Don’t be afraid to wear something home-made. Just wear a sticker or ten to support the activities of persons with disabilities,” says the Casual Day team.
Buy your stickers from Edgars, Jet, Boardmans, CAN, ABSA, Game, DionWired or call the National office at 011- 609 7006.
National beneficiaries include The National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa, The South African Council for the Blind, Epilepsy South Africa, Disabled People of South Africa, The Deaf Federation of South Africa, and The South African Association for Mental Health.
